Fundraising

In previous years the Charity was very active in the fundraising field locally being able to employ a full-time fundraiser, Mickey Tostevin, through local sponsorship. FUN days, fashion shows and major poster campaigns were extremely successful in bringing the attention of the local public to the work of the Charity.

However when the sponsorship came to an end we were no longer to afford the services of a fundraiser and so the Charity is largely dependent for its fundraising income on sponsorship from local fundraising events in which we are either able to run stalls or help out in some other way. This year for instance we were very fortunate to be chosen as one of the recipients of funds raised by the Parish of St Martin at its Fireworks Display where we provided volunteer stewards to help to marshall the event. We have also received donations from several other fundraising endeavours, most recently the Grouville Panto Club, which donated proceeds of their collection at their highly successful Christmas Pantomine.

The Charity would be pleased to hear from anyone considering us as a possible beneficiary of local fundraising endeavours and we are quite happy to help out at such events if we are able to. This year the Committee are planning a number of small events including a family fun day and news of such events can be accessed through this website as they develop.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to the charity can write to Lynsey Richardson c/o Southfork, Rue de Trot, St Saviours, JE2 7JQ or email lynseyrichardson1@yahoo.com

If anyone would like to put a collection box in their shop or place of employment please contact Anton Skinner on telephone 851124 or email : antonskinner@msn.com
